Dr. Victoria Medvec is the Adeline Barry Davee professor of management and organizations at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a founder and executive director of the Kellogg School's Center for Executive Women. She also is president and CEO of Medvec and Associates, a consulting firm focused on high-stakes negotiations and strategic decisions. Medvec is a renowned expert in the areas of negotiations and executive decision-making and teaches these topics to senior-level executives. She also advises CEOs and other executives on critical decisions and negotiations. Her clients include Bristol-Myers Squibb, Campbell Soup Company, EY, General Electric, Merck, McKinsey, Fidelity Investments, Goldman Sachs, Hewlett-Packard, McDonald's, Novartis, Shell and other global corporations. Medvec’s research is published in top academic journals, including Psychological Review and the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, and has been highlighted in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post, the Today Show and other media. She serves on the board of directors for Guaranty Financial Corporation. She also serves on the advisory board for Shields Meneley Partners, a private global career management company specializing in CEO transition.
