Cathy Engelbert is CEO of Deloitte LLP, whose subsidiaries provide audit, tax, consulting and advisory services. She leads the largest professional services firm in the United States and is responsible for 70,000 professionals in nearly 90 U.S. cities and India. Since 1986, Engelbert has had a distinguished career serving large and complex global clients. She previously served as chairman and CEO of Deloitte LLP’s audit subsidiary and on the Deloitte LLP board of directors. Engelbert has been interviewed by CNBC, Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal, FOX Business Network and Fortune about key issues including global business trends, professional services and Deloitte’s growth strategy. She frequently discusses how to advance diversity and inclusion in corporate America with major news outlets, including The Washington Post. Engelbert is a member of the Center for Audit Quality Governing Board and was named one of Crain’s “50 Most Powerful Women in New York” in 2015. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Lehigh University and is a certified public accountant licensed in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey. She is a member of the Accounting Advisory Board for Lehigh University.
