Dawn Perry, Esq., is the Vice President of Business and Regulatory Law for Retail Business Services LLC (“RBS”) an Ahold Delhaize company.  RBS serves a portfolio of seven brands in the United States – Stop & Shop, Giant Martins, Giant Food, Food Lion, Hannaford, Peapod, (the online grocery shopping/delivery service), and Peapod Digital Labs, (the eCommerce and digital engine). Together, these brands collectively operate nearly 2,000 supermarkets and distribution centers, including 752 pharmacies, with more than 220,000 associates in 23 states and the District of Columbia.

Her responsibilities include oversight of the lawyers and legal staff in connection with all business transactions, corporate administration, intellectual property portfolio management, regulatory compliance (i.e., data utilization, antitrust, pharmacy, anti-money laundering, marketing and advertising, and environmental) and offering legal advice to various business units and senior executives within Ahold Delhaize USA and its brands. Dawn is also Brand counsel for Stop & Shop, a role in which she provides legal leadership to the brand’s executive team.

Prior to that, she held several leadership roles within the former Ahold USA, Inc., and progressed through roles of increasing responsibilities including Senior Counsel and Director of Business Law, Director of Business & Regulatory Law, to Vice President of Business of Regulatory Law.   Dawn is a seasoned attorney with extensive and diverse legal experience as a trade/ transactional attorney, and in general corporate matters and regulatory compliance, working collaboratively with clients as a key contributor to develop important strategic initiatives.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a Bachelor of Art in English, she received her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University, School of Law, and a master of business Administration from Sawyer Business School – Suffolk University School of Business.  

Dawn and her husband and their two daughters reside in North Easton MA.
